inauguration of the St. Mary Mission Room

Opened the first food bank located in an Ontario secondary school to serve St. Mary and DCDSB students and families as well as support the Non-Profit Specialist High School Major program.

A provincial award recipient for two consecutive years as a member of St. Mary's Safe and Caring Schools Committee. developing a number of effective student-led initiatives that promoted a positive, safe and healthy learning environment.

Durham Catholic school Board Award of Merit

Recognized for exemplifying the Catholic mission of displaying compassion and being of service to others. Supported a safe, equitable and inclusive learning environment.

School-based social justice work

Facilitator of St. Mary's Retreat Leaders and Alliance for Compassion, a social justice group which advocates for and supports the underserved and underrepresented in our society. Supported countless school and community-based events such as food drives, Christmas Outreach programs, fundraising and awareness campaigns for Canadian Jesuits International, Sharelife, and Development and Peace, the annual St. Mary Colour Run and the Mental Wellness Cafe.
